Type:   Visual Design
Program(s):    Sketch, Adobe AfterEffects
Klagenfurt Airport aimed to revamp their website, and I was responsible for transforming UX designs into detailed sketches to create a modern and responsive interface.
A main component on the website addressed the core use of assisting customers check new arrivals, departures, and flight information. To enhance usability, I designed a module inspired by the format and subtle styling of an airline ticket.
This design not only streamlined navigation but also intuitively guided users to find essential details such as gate assignments, seating arrangements, and departure times, mirroring the familiarity that they would experience looking at a physical ticket.
I extended the flight ticket metaphor to the “card switcher” for useful information, paying homage to the old airport flap departures board I added a little richness to the dropdown switcher.  The accompanying information posts were designed in the style of luggage tags, adding to the overall thematic cohesion.
Utilising AfterEffects, I animated my visual designs to capture the intended look and feel, aiming to depict a seamless and engaging user experience.
Inspired by inflight magazines, I aimed to create a dynamic and engaging look and feel for the news/blog section of the website.
